Where do I put apps?

    I have an FTP program and my buddy just sent me an application in an email. But I have no clue where to put it.

    Im running 2.2.

    Apps have DRM, so your iPod won't be able to sync it unless your computer is authorized with the account where the app was purchased in.

    Ahh ok. Bummar.

    Also, one last question but I dont want to make another thread.

    What is the file extension for itunes apps?

    They're .ipa.

    The actual applications are .app, but they are put in a .ipa file.
