What's wrong with the real Summerboard? (even from 1.1.1 I have never used the Old one), is there much of a difference?

I couldn't get summerboard to install on 1.1.1 & 1.1.2. Only summerboard (old) worked.

That's VERY strange. Oh well, why not go to 1.1.4 and get everything? Customize 2.0 will replace SMB anyhow.

    Yes it is.....

And I eventually will go to 1.1.4 but I have no problems at 1.1.2 so until it crashes or I am really bored and feel like going thru that process....i'll stick to 1.1.2

    I'll post this again...
Go here and click on the link titled "Download SummerBoard Alpha for Firmware 1.1.1".
    Download the zip file.
Open the file "Install" with a text editor and follow the directions.
