Before i updated to iOS 4.0, i saved my 3.1.3 SHSH blobs. I am sick of this 4.0 crap, I didn't get any of the features i was promised. I've tried downgrading back to 3.1.3 because everyone says if you put it in DFU mode you can downgrade a MC model. Every time I have tried to downgrade, i get error message 1601?

Is there a place i go to get my SHSH blobs back?
Or is there a different way to downgrade?

I do wish people would stop posting when they don't know what they're talking about. It creates too much noise and general confusion. The idea of backing up SHSH blobs is to allow you to downgrade when Apple stop signing the signatures for a particular firmware.

The Firmware Umbrella is the tool you need. It will access Saurik's Cydia server to check and see if your blobs are there :http://thefirmwareumbrella.blogspot.com

Further check the stickies in this forum for guides on SHSH backup and restore.

    Thats why I put 'I do not think' I wasn't stating - I was saying I was un-sure.

But I couldn't find where my 3.1.3 SHSH file was, so I just saved my 4.0. But thank you for all the help!

Then why bother replying? In fact in future as a rule if you don't know the answer then don't post a reply to a question.

to get your blobs from Cydia: open up the frimware umbrella, enter in your ECID number (google how to find ecid of iphone) then in the repo option select Cydia and submit. It will transfer the shsh blob of whichever firmware you select to your desktop.

Check if you have 3.1.2 as well, because I only backed up 3.1.2, and I had 3.1.3, and 4.0 blobs.

If you jailbreak then Cydia will grab your shsh blobs as soon as you open it.

even without the Multitasking and backgrounds you have folders, better iOS code and lots of small upgrades and fixes. It's still worth updating even if you don't enable the extra features.
