You can use SBSetting which I dont like as much, just do the following:

Settings>wi-fi>click the arrow of the wi-fi name (you will see the little blue arrow press that.)> scroll down to ip adress

That is your public address, not your device's address.

You cannot use a website to find your device ip as it is only visible on the local network. There are 3 ways to do it.

    1. Go to Settings>Wifi>and click on the blue arrow next to the network you're connected to.

    2. It is shown on the sbsettings panel (though it sometimes updates slowly if you're just turning on the wifi).

    3. Open MobileTerminal and type ifconfig wlan0. Your ip is shown next to inet addr:

If you're looking for your public IP address, eg the one your ISP gives you, you can visit: http://www.whatismyip.com/ or even simpler http://checkip.dyndns.com/ .

If you're looking for your LAN/DHCP IP (usually 192.168.x.xxx or variant), use the WiFi info in Settings.app or SBSettings.

To find the ip address of your ipod following the steps given below:
settings -> wifi -> click on the wireless network you're connected to
To know your External ip address visit IP-Details.com Here it display Internet service provider, IP address, location, Longitude, latitude and so on...
