where can i find firmware on my computer

    hi,

    I cant seem to find where my computer (mac) stores the iphone firmware updates, can any one help?

    When you use Quickpwn and hit browse, it directs you to the firmware folder by itself. I'm not sure, but that's what happens on Windows.

    no, i actually want to find the file in my system so i can make a copy of it.

    Yes, do what I told you, find the location of the file and then don't go to the next step, just close quickpwn.
    That's what I did when I wanted to have a backup of my firmware.

    You navigate
    Home Folder>Library>iTunes>iPod Software Updates
    Then you find your firmware

    Heres How On Vista

    Go To C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPod Software Updates You Must Have Show Hidden Files And Folders Enabled To Get AppData

    i have w/vista im trying to find firmware folder but nothing !! do i need to have a (mac) to find it the way u said !!! thanx.....

    To see them you must go to tools, Folder options, View, then show hidden Folders.

    I left click and search for it in folders or something.
