I'm looking for a good deal on either a 16 gb or 32 gb touch. Where's the best place to find one?

Also, do you guys find the 16 gb one to be sufficient? I'd prefer the 32 gb model but its like $100 more. Is that worth it for double the space?

And one more thing, if I buy a pre-update ipod, would I be able to install the new 2008 updates if I jailbreak it? Or do i need to shell out the $20?

If you buy any iPod touch now, the software upgrade comes with it.

well amazon.com has the pre-update 16 gb touch for $350, is that a decent deal? Would I be able to get the update without paying via a crack or something?

word, I just said f*** it and bought a 32 gb one for $490 there. They're super good with returns and replacements, no questions asked (my brother returned a 2 year old first gen nano that he stepped on and they game him a new 2nd gen one to replace it), so I figure its like having a good warranty on it.

$380 for a sealed 32GB on kijiji.ca two weeks ago.

$300 for a used 16GB on Craigslist last November, which i sold on Craigslist for $260 an hour after i bought the 32. I figured going brand new with 16GB more space was worth the $120.

Try kijiji.com in the U.S., it's starting to catch on.
