I successfully jailbroke my new 8Gb opot with ziphone-2.5c.

Looking into /Applications, I see a few iphone applications that have no start button on the springboard. They work fine when I start them from a terminal command line.

But then there seems no way to stop them. Pressing the escape button does not work. Only reboot or kill <pid> via ssh does.

How do I make springboard see i.e. Maps.app and present it's start button?

I don't know if Maps.app already were in the firmware, or if ziphone installed them. Anyway, they work fine but their start buttons don't appear on the springboard.

The file permissions look right, i.e. 755 on directory and executables.

You have to buy the apps via itunes, or download them through installer.

Dude you did not JB Successfully.

Zibri at Ziphone just got his iPod Touch. He has made the fix and testing. go to www.ziphone.org to get the Touch release.

Go to itunes and Restore to a clean 1.1.4 before doing break again.
