well i have a 3g 32 gig with 3.1.3, so i can't downgrade, so i have to wait for 3.1.3 to become jailbreakable.

any idea when it will be avaible?

It can be if you have an Original iPhone, 3G iPhone, 1st gen touch, or 2nd gen touch.

Other than that never. Like I said the update was so small, it was basically made to trap users from jailbreaking and have the dev team release an exploit.

I am going with never never.

Why would you ever do that? Use your iPod like it was made to be used. Jailbreaking isn't everything.

There is nothing wrong with your iPod. It would be rather dumb to downgrade just because yours cannot be jailbroken. The 3G has the highest specs of all the devices.

You could always downgrade the firmware to 3.1.2, but I'm not sure if 3g is breakable. I remember a couple of tutorials stating that jailbreaking is possible with 3g.
So you should either downgrade and try to jailbreak your iPod using the tutorials that are possible with 3g or [if there isn't any 3g jailbreaking tool] wait until a new jailbreaking method comes for 3g.
But it seems pretty possible to jailbreak with your current iPod. You wouldn't want to give away a perfectly good iPod.

Of course it's possible to jailbreak a 3rd gen iPod Touch, and always has been since blackra1n was released!

Just wait till firmware 4.0 comes out with the Ipad. Then the devs will make a jailbreak.
