Well... you just need to plug the usb wall charger to charge the battery, it will automatically turn on

the battery will auctually turn off around 5-10%, then when you try to turn on it will show the charge screen so you charge it for how ever long as you want. Really bad idea to drain to 0% completely

    May i ask why?
My jailbroken ipod touch 2G runs out of battery most of the time before i charge it back, haven't had a issue with it so far

The device shuts off when it reaches 5%-10% to conserve the remaining left to not harm the device. Once its out of electricity the electrons won't be able to move and they would die.

Oh ok thanks for the explanation, although so far i never went to 0% the OS has some sort of security that doesn't allow you to

I understand if I drain the battery to 0% would harm my device, but my jailbroken iPod 2g battery indicator has some problem, I want to do a battery calibration for my device , even Apple suggests us do it at least once a month.

That it is 100% ok you canb use your ipod until it turns off

You will never get to 0% because the OS prevent you to, go ahead and use it until the battery runs out, everything will be fine

Because when my ipod2G battery level reached 20%, I could still use safari for 1 and half hour, and the battery level went up and went down repeatly between 10-20%, after that it got 4% left , but it haven't shuted down itself yet, so I think the battery indicator is inaccurate, any suggestions?
