When JBing, is it still okay to have iTunes/ Apple processes running? (Windows)

I remember jailbreaking the 1.1.x firmware on the 1G, and you always had to end the processes with anything iTunes or Apple in it.

Is this still held true when JBing 2.x.x?

Also, is it always the smart idea to do this every time you sync the JBroken iPod into the PC?
Or should I not worry about it?

    Thanks.

It shouldn't matter, I believe any of the processes, QuickPwn, end these automatically as it prepares to Pwn the iPod.

As for syncing, it also doesn't matter. My iPod is jailbroken and I have no troubles just going ahead and connecting the device.
