When I run Cydia it starts then exits?

    The program never starts... it was working but now it is not.
    Any way i can debug? I still have ssh access..

    Try doing a complete restart by holding the hold button until it is asking you to power off, slide, then turn it on again, and try to see if it works now.

    try manually reinstalling cydia through ssh

    I did the full restart...

    How do you manually re-install? Where are the files i can re-install from?

    (It was already installed in the jailbreak so I don't know how to manually install it.)

    Did you by any change, try and install Customize?
    This same thing happened to me this morning after I was messing with the permissions of the programs.
    So I did a rejailbreak cause I didn't think people who have an answer.
    If you want the whole Cydia.app that works, I'll upload it for ya.

    Yes please put up a working set of the 2.0 Cydia.app directory.. It can't hurt.

    I manually installed some games ouside of cydia.app but other then that i didn't do anything bad.
    I also changed the rights on somethings in the /Application directory but again i only made them have more rights not less so that shouldn't be an issue.

    i deleted the my old cydia.app. and replaced with the files given here. restarted still crashes. help

    Set permissions and try fake signing it.
