1)When 4.0 Comes
2)When I-Pad Hits Stores
I believe it depends if the exploit is still existent in 3.2 iPad firmware. If it is I think there might be a chance of releasing it then to satisfy iPad users. Or, they might wait for the iPhone 4G's release, provided the exploit is still in 3.2 (signifies the exploit may be in 4.0 as well).
If the exploit isn't in 3.2, then they'll release it then for sure, because it's not going to be in 4.0 if it isn't in 3.2.
Probably wait until the new iPhone and 4.0 is released.
The best thing would be until the next iphone is released along with fw 4.0
The blog post by Posixninja said the iPod/iPhone was now completely at the mercy of the iPad. They will release when the iPad can be Jailbroken and unlocked etc.
Also, the iPad will ship with 3.2, NOT 3.1.3. There will be no jailbreak for 3.1.3 firmware.
uuu actually i have been reading and and leader of the chronic dev team said it will support 3.1.3
I think it will be released with 4.0, cause there is no 3.2 for iPod and iPhone.
Same. There isn't a 3.2 software for the iPod touch/ iPhone (at least not that we know of; we may get it the day the iPad is released, i.e. April 3rd).
I have a feeling they'll release it for the iPad, but they should wait for the iPod touch 4g!!! Lol because surely if it is released for the iPad, Apple will update the bootrom for the iPhone 4g and iPod touch 4g. But what if the jailbreak didn't work for the iPad? (very unlikely sinse jailbreak work for both the iPhone and the iPod touch.
You forget that if they did wait, they would never release. Technology is always changing. If they decided to wait until the next product release, they would never release Greenp0ison.
