Hi all. Just recently got a iPod Touch 8GB and I love it but i'm new to the iTunes experience etc.

Now I got some videos I downloaded off Youtube into xvid format and I downloaded Cucusoft Converter.

I've added the videos I want to convert but I can choose from more than one compatible video format for my Touch.

    There's:

    1) iPhone (480x320) H.264 Movie (.mp4)
    2) iPhone (480x320) MPEG-4 Movie (.mp4)
    3) iPod MPEG-4 Movie (.mp4) Default
    4) iPod H.264 Movie (.mp4)
    5) iPod Touch H.264 Movie (.mp4)

    So which do I use???

Got it working =) Thanks though, appreciate your help mate.

Ok now here's the settings i'm using:

    Video Quality: High
    Video Codec: mpeg4
    Resolution: 480x320
    Framerate: 30.0fps
    Aspect Ratio: Auto
    Audio Quality: 80kbps
    Audi Codec: mpeg4aac
    Channels: 2 channels stereo
    Sample Rate: 44100hz

Is there anything I should change that could improve mainly the smoothness and quality of the video e.g. make the video quality Superb (highest setting) or make the resolution 640x480 (or is that too big for the Touch). How about audio quality, I can do higher kbps.

    Thank you

    Should I be using 480x320 or 640x480?

H.264 is a newer file format than .mp4, so the quality is better. Also, it compresses the file more, about 200mb less than .mp4. Bump up your audio quality to 160kbps, it makes a big difference. And in Videora you can increase the volume level and I would recommend bumping the volume from 100% to 300% so movies aren't so hard to hear. Also do a two-pass conversion it increases video quality a lot.
