    wtf i upgraded to 1.1.4 just now and all my music is gone
    i didnt restore i upgraded
    i go into itunes and it says i have 7.27 gigs of other instead of my 7.27 gigs of music
    that is supposed to be there
    i reset my ipod and plugged it back in again ... nothin happend
    anyone else have this problem?
    or know how to fix it without restoring i really dont wanna sit there and put 1000 somethin songs back on my ipod

    Use playlists you dolt.

    I don't know why these people insist on putting thousands of songs on their device that they don't even listen to.

    Restore your iPod Touch and then resync.

    its prolly cuz u did the root and Media symlink. Just jailbreak it and redo it. I had to once to.

    its probably to late but apparently other people that have had this problem have said that if u go into itunes and select it to not sync music, then sync it, then tell it to sync music & then sync it again, i have not actually tested if this works becuase i have never had to try.
