    What has changed?
And as far as JBroken ipods go.
What are the best apps there to have?

What about themes, widgets and all that jive?
Please exclude stuff from the AppStore for now
...unless if its the must-have free app, exception then :]

    OH YEAH,
if i posted in a wrong part of the forum
mods, please move my thread to the appropriate one.

    But yeahhh,

    First off, 2.2.
Plenty of good themes; widgets are cool but slow down your iPod

good apps: winterboard, sbsettings, quickgold, categories, gpsphone...

How long have you been gone?

My iPod is 2.2 Jailbroken as of yesterday.
A friend of mine gave it to me the other day.

    Going back to topic.
Hmm, I seee. Soo widgets are not as recommended and such?
    SBSettings..just how would that work?
    Anything more you would recommend?

Hmm, i've beeen gone since summertime of o8
As I havnt beeen fixing my friend's iPods for such a long time
and thus, lagging to the newest news.

WinterBoard : Theme Manager ( Replacing SummerBoard and Customize )

SBSettings : Settings ( Brightness, WiFi, SSH, Processes, etc ) Panel Activated by swiping the status bar.

QuickGold : Application launcher like QuickSilver for Mac. Press Home Button at HomeScreen, Type App Name, hit Listing to open App.

Categories : Sort Apps into Folders and such.

    gpSPhone : GBA Emulator.

@jlocalled, thanks for explaining every app
But most apps said above is i've used and liked before i went to a hiatus
    But thanks xD

As of winterboard. sooo its like the everything-in-one now, huh?
Meaning i can remove Customize from my ipod?

..i kinda dont get how SBSettings actually work.
Cause liek, it only appears once a while
and swiping status bar never works most of the time.
