iOS 4.0 What's up with the + next to some apps in the App Store?

Something I noticed while exploring 4.0 is that next to multiple apps, there is a + sign next to the prices. It is also over the price when you click on the app. If it's unclear what I'm talking about, search Pandora in the app store, a few of the apps there have it.

Does anyone have any idea what it means? I've thought of a ton of things, but proven all of them incorrect. I thought maybe it was to tag apps I have already bought(which would be cool) but I already bought Ocarina and it doesn't have a +, so that can't be it.

Nope, it means the app is for both the iPad and iPod touch/iPhone, like awal had said.
