What's this pieces purpose?

    The black piece on the top left corner. My friends is coming up and wondering if that is bad.

    Don't worry, there is nothing wrong with you iPod. That piece of plastic is for the Wifi antenna, as the signal wouldn't travel well through aluminum.

    That's the wifi connector. Its not bad at all.

    Since you don't know much about that black space I'm guessing you don't know about the light sensor either...

    If you ever come across a little circle at the top left of your iPod touch don't worry. Its a sensor to detect whenever its light or not in order to change the screens brightness.

    Not as much glare, saves battery, etc...

    Obviously I knew that, I keep a case on my iPod and really don't pay or care about it lol just didn't know what the purpose of that one was when my buddy asked me, thank you though
