Title says everything... But to be more precise. How do I jailbreak my ipod touch. Cuz a lot of time ago I jailbroken it and then I tried to install winterboard, but just when the installations finished, my ipod crashed and I had to reboot it... So hum.. yeah what's the tethered jailbreak exaclty?

Tethered jailbreak means that you have to reconnect the iPod to the computer and re-jailbreak if you power off the iPod. So basically every time you restart you need to re-jailbreak. It gets annoying after awhile.

Use the search button on the top of the page. There are many threads that cover jailbreaking tethered v. untethered throughout the site.

Exactly, if u turn the power off (by pressing the power button & the home button at the same time) it will un-jailbreak ur iPhone, but if u use an un-tethered jailbreak, when u turn the power off, it won't un-jailbreak.
