I have Cydia and Installer. I hate Cydia it pretty much sucks so i am trying to remove it off my ipod touch but i want to keep Installer. I looked up and the ways to uninstall are complicating so i was trying to know the easiest way to uninstall cydia.

i hate when people bad mouth stuff they don't know about, Cydia is badass your prolly to slow to use it.its only missing the sources editor and once that added it will surpass installer, no questions about it.

Uninstalling Cydia may cripple your BSD backend--bad idea. I'd just keep it hidden.

Also, Cydia is significantly better than Installer--packages contain install scripts, so there's no need for an XML file in your repository. It's faster as well, and has a much better BSD subsystem.

Just leave it or uninstall through installer, but that would prolly mess up your ipod.
