    Here's a good (and legal) idea: get a headphone-to-headphone cord, plug one end into your radio, plug the other end into your iPod touch, go to voice memos, and record! It'll be in mono, but still, it's not bad

    Just hack the Apple servers, kick the Administator out, and set iTunes Soungprice to 0. (But tell us before you do it)

    Yes, but learning an instrument costs money: you'll have to buy it, and eventually take lessons, and assuming your music teacher will have to eat too, you'll have to pay him/her... So, this is not an option
