You know each time you buy an ipod touch there's a universal support that comes with it(white plastic thing) anyway, eh... HOW DO U PUT THE IPOD ON IT???

its a dock adapter, you use it for some docks to make it snug

You buy a dock, and the place where it has the plug, put the adapter on it, and put your iPod in it.

Well, I've used that plastic thingy and it works if your iPod is "naked". It does not fit the touch when there is a silicon protector unfortunately (trust me, I've tried this on my Altec Lansing iPod speakers and because it doesn't fit anymore, I connect the iPod to the Aux cable instead).
