I have 580 MB of space taken up on my iTouch by "Other". What is "Other"? How can I access and modify it so I can free up some space?

I believe its your jailbroken apps and other app data.

My iPod is not jailbroken. When I updated to 3.1.3 a while ago I lost my jailbreak. Is it possible that my jailbroken data is still embedded somewhere in my iPod's memory?

Other also includes the actual iPhone OS files.

Oh, I see. So is the 580 MB of space perpetual, then? That's a whole lot of space taken up, and I think I didn't have that much taken up before I started jailbreaking.

I don't have that much 'Other' space.

I'd think its a possibility that you still have files from your jailbreak. If you need to remove those (for the extra space) you should restore via iTunes, and then DO NOT restore from backup.

That would remove them, but you would lose all your game saves/bookmarks/notes/calendar/anything that isn't music/video/games. Your call.

So if I restore my iPod with iTunes, I will lose all my app data even though they're legit? Reason I asked was because I don't know if you think I have jailbroken apps or not, which I don't. My iPod isn't jailbroken because I have 3.1.3. And what will happen to my music and any other data?
