So as most of you know theres gonna be a new app coming with firmware 2.0 - Appstore. Now i watched a couple videos and it seems like the games you can get from it are amazing-amazing graphics, no lag and etc (IE super monkey ball, touch fighter). So i ask WHAT IS NEXT FOR INSTALLER? The current apps in installer are NOWHERE near as good as the ones from appstore, but even if you do pay, you pay for quality that you just dont get for installer. So i ask you in the future, whats gonna be dominant- Appstore OR Installer?

neither poll choice is valid. Since pwnage is availible, installer/appstore should coexist.

and to ur point saying that the apps in installer are nowhere as good, complete bullsh*t, we can put whatever apps we want on there, and free

sure there are good apps in appstore, but you can only compare individuals, not the delivery system

I think we have awhile to figure that out since Pwnage Tool doesn't even work with the latest version of 2.0 firmware.

As said by popular vote, Appstore and Installer will Co-Exist through Pwnage. It will be the best of both worlds, providing that people putting Apps on installer rewrite their App to work on 2.0.

i wasn't going to go to 2.0 until i knew installer would work on it...
but after watching touch fighter and monkey ball, i just cant decide. i mean yea the 2.0 games are awesome, but installer gives you GBA, PSX, SNES, NES and GBC emulators for free. its really a tough choice. that and installer gives you fixes to glitches and bugs with the ipod.

maybe with the june update with the appstore coming up you could jailbreak 2.0 while still have the appstore so you could have both.
