Are we looking at an almost complete jailbreak here?

chronic is actively working on an iboot exploit, the topic is whats next, if he does find an exploit

personally im not sure, people talk like the exploit is everything, you get one its a wrap, but im not sure its really like that, thats just how people talk about it, hopefully chronic will find something and it'll lead to a jailbreak but who knows

I guess, yeah. But if you look at his google page, it says that the iBoot exploit is being actively worked on. So hopefully it's coming soon.

well his google code for "find iboot exploit" over the last few days has gone from nothing to (pending...) to (goal being actively worked on / looked into) and he expressed in a thread on IPTF that he found something that "may be gold" as he put it, but he also said it could be "fools gold"

Uhm...okay...what was the point of even posting that?

And by the way, for those of you who can't read (xD), the next step will be to "Implement exploit, and pwn". Which means to publicize and package the exploit, and then release it. So...yeah. And also, the iBoot exploit is definitely the most difficult, so it'll probably be a while.
