Whats faster iphone 3g 8gb or ipod touch 3g 8gb? Need fast answer please!

    Whats faster the iphone 3g or the ipod touch third generation 8gb....for safari browsing over wifi and general opening apps and everything else....please give me an answer fast.... i need to know what to buy before 12

    okay is it that much of a difference though? i could get the iphone 3g 8gb for 150 mint condition (later use it as a phone if i want, use it as a ipod now) or i could get an ipod touch 3g 8b for 175...please help me on my purchase i need to go in 30 mins

    Yup. Not as fast as the 32Gb/64Gb, but still faster than the iPhone 3G.

    In terms of clock speed:
    iPhone 3G (8gb): -412MHz
    iPod Touch 3G (8gb): -532MHz
    iPhone 3G (16/32gb): - 600MHz
    iPod Touch 3G (32/64gb): - 600MHz

    The speed difference is slightly noticible, but not much. IMO I'd go for the iPhone because of the phone and camera etc. Plus it's cheaper.
    But it's really up to you.

    alright just as long as its barely noticeable right? Ur sure its not like a big difference?

    I sure didn't notice much of a difference. Some games run smoother, and 3D games run with a little less lag, but for opening apps and safari I didn't see a difference.
