So I linked my Phone with my Ipod touch... but now what... i can not do anything with it... can not send files (from either device...)

I know its so you can play multiplayer... but none of my friends have a ipod touch 2G (a few have 1G)... Whats the point in actually linking it with a phone?

no, the point in bluetooth is mostly the stereo audio connection and the tethering

Why is tethering any use for an ipod touch? I thought tethering was about using your phone's 3g connection to provide internet access for a computer. But the ipod touch needs wifi to connect anyway? Or am I missing something? (I am new to all of this)

You connect to your iPhone to use the internet by USB or Bluetooth.

You cant do it via WiFi afaik.

i guess if your computer has no wireless you could use the iPod as a wireless card maybe?

Yes that is somehow correct... I never put it this way. I guess if you have a wireless connection nearby and your laptop or computer doesn't have Wi-Fi, it makes sense...
