I'm pretty sure that no one has has made a thread like this yet, because i looked, and i didnt find one. So, I was wondering the other day. What if I had a major hardware problem with my iPod (jailbroken), and I had to go to the Apple store to fix it. Sya the hardware problem was the port on the bottom was flattened shut. Just an example, I know that can't happen w/o ruining the whole thing. And this major problem keeps me from restoring my amazingly jailbroken iPod touch. So I go to the Genius Bar. I say, "Hi! My iPod Touch has a major hardware problem. The port is clogged shut." "OK. I'll take it in the back for a moment", he says. A few moments later, he comes back and says, "Well, I inspected the software to see if we could back it up so you could buy a new one and restore to your back up. But your device is jailbroken." What would happen next? In this situation, I have no warranty, protection, money, anything of the kind. I just want my iPod fixed. What would they do? Please don't give answers like "o, tey wud go wtf and smahs it undre ther fet." Those answers are from people who just want a higher post count. Btw, please add me on Epic Pet Wars.
