With the talk of a higher capacity touch, what do you think will happen to the classic this year? If you choose other, please specify why below.

EDIT: An article from Gizmodo about the iPod line here

EDIT: An article from Engadget about an apple patent for detection of abuse, featuring a sort of touch-classic ipod here.

i think they will upgrade it. the touch will not be able to replace the classic in terms of capacity, and i doubt it will stay the same.

It'll get more Memory. And probably the ability to use it as a time capsule.

    To add Portal technology.
You are now in possession of the AppLEture Science Handheld iPortal Device. With it, you can create your own portals. These intradimensional iPortals have been proven to be unsafe. The device, however, has. Do not listen to the operational end of the device. Do not use the clickwheel of the device. Do not submerge the device into ear. Even partially. Most importantly, *STATIC*

I'm thinking maybe a terabyte model. How about THAT for an ad. iPod classic, bigger than your computer.

I'm guessing they'll release an iPod Classic with extremely minor changes and a 64 GB iPod Touch in September. I think they'll discontinue the iPod Classic in September 2010 when they introduce a 128 GB iPod Touch.
