First Apple product I got to try was my uncle's 2nd gen iPod (Classic when it was the only iPod) I actually loved its mechanical wheel and its "click click" sound. (the click sound later replicated by the piezoelectric clickers) First Apple product we had in the house was an iPod Shuffle redeemed by my dad's Airmile mileage. It was pretty cool but my sister walked across it while it was plugged into the USB port, charging, and snapped the connection. RIP First Apple product I owned was a 6th gen iPod Classic 80GB black. I used to have an iRiver MP3 player with 1GB flash storage and its screen broke almost exactly after one year of use. I thought I may as well try using large capacity MP3 player and got the Classic. It was great but I only later found out that Apple blocked iPod Linux on the 6th gen Classic. I was quite disappointed and that resulted in me getting the 2nd gen touch only a year later.
I first got a silver iPod nano 2g. And actually I still have it and still use it. Edit: Now that I think about it I had another Apple product before this. It was a laptop computer that my dad brought home when I was about 5. It was black and white but at the time I thought it was really cool.
this. it lasted me 6 whole years until i got my iPod touch. still works to this day, but its used just as a music backup.
