    I prefer the darker look. I use a sunrise picture that I took just east of El Paso.

    Note, in person, it looks amazing. Also, it looks VERY pretty when you have the music controls (the double tap to turn screen on ones) superimposed over it.

    I prefer making my own when I get the touch. So,

    What dimensions should the pic be to perfectly fit screen?

    Make it any dimensions you want. The iPod lets you resize the picture and place it wherever you'd like.

    Alirghty, a good starting dimension? I dont want to have a 780 X 640, etc.

    In that case, 320 x 480 would be a decent place to start.
