Hey everybody. I have a question. I have an iPod Touch 1g at the moment. I'm getting a job this summer to hopefully get the 4g iPhone. But I was also looking into getting a new iPod Touch. Anybody have any advice? Wait? Buy? What?

The new iPods come in September, so if you don't want to wait, I would get one, or wait a month for the iPhone 4G if you have the money.

Heres some advice: put threads like this in a more appropriate section.

Yea. I was thinking about the iPhone but then again, is there that big a point to get it when you call text(TextNow &TextPlus) and call(Vonage & Skype) from an iPod Touch 2g/3g?

Well with the iPod you have to have wi-fi to do most of those things, but if I am not mistaken, the iPhone just needs a signal to do all those things so you don't have to worry about having wi-fi
