What to do with ssh

    ok so i jailbroke my ipod touch 2g, i have sucessfully put it in ssh mode or however it is said now what do i do with it so i can use get files on it or set it up so i can see apps any guidance would be much appreciated

    ssh just gives you a unix command line. To install freeware apps and themes you want to use cydia. You cant install app store apps over ssh, you still need to purchase those through the app store on the touch or in itunes.

    ssh allows you to go in and tinker with things (if you know what your doing) or screw them up horribly (if you do not know what you are doing).

    im so lost i jailbroke and i cant get apps to show up and i dont know why i added the [bloop] source i got [bloop] and everything but apps do not show up when i download and install them am i doing anything wrong im running 2.x firmware on a 2nd gen ipod touch [bloop] with [bloop]

    its like a portal from the inside of your itouch to your mac, if that helps

    doesn't matter, he'll be banned in hours when a mod sees this post because of the site he mentioned.

    On top of that being theft, that site is known for malicious code instead of what you think your downloading.
