    Hey guys,

my ipod Touch is kind of dead... it doesn't do anything at all. I had it connected to my pc and then turn it off and went sleeping, the other day it was dead.

    I tried two things:
*Holding home and power button to reboot it
*Holding home button while connecting it to pc

Is there anything else I could do ?

Does anybody know how much a repair is about to cost me and if it's a good idea to send it because it's still jailbroken ?

    Thx in advance

Do you know how to put your iPod into DFU?

    Step One
Open iTunes and connect the iPod to your computer.

    Step Two
Press and hold the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button at the same time for 10 seconds.

    Step Three
After exactly 10 seconds release the Sleep/Wake button. Continue holding the home button (for about 30 seconds) until iTunes pops up a message telling you that it has detected an iPod in recovery mode.

You iPod's screen should stay blank like it's turned off.

If apple won't exchange, then make the guy sign a legal contract that allows you to throw your device at him/her and do it.

emm well DFU mode didn't work as I said, I'm pretty sure my battery isn't working anymore cause it was empty very fast when my ipod still worked. So if I take my ipod touch apart is there away to test the battery ?

    Cheerio
