So now I'm running on the semi-tethered jailbreak, but want the untethered. Should I do the NOR patch thing (stuff won't be gone, but I think it's tethered only and not so safe) or a full restore and a GUI based Jailbreak. If gui which do you recommend?

I would use the QuickFreedom tool by dancool999.

EDIT: That's if you're going to use a GUI.

Since your on semi-tethered you might want to clearenv and set the default boot-path before doing nor-only.

I think I'll use QuickFreedom, my iPod just crashed pretty badly and won't even boot with decovery (the connect to itunes stays [I know a fix, but it's maybe easier with quickfreedom])

Just one more guestion: Do I have to do the patches for winterboard and other to make it boot?

EDIT: Never mind, I'll just search.

No, you don't need any patches, its 100% untethered.

There's no patches for programs you need to do on untethered
