OK, so to save some time, I'll get right down to the point. I was trying to install an application and the icon wouldn't show up on the screen, so I decided to reset the springboard. What happens? All of my apps I got from the App Store are gone! ALL OF THEM! What the hell??

Can someone PLEASE explain that to me?

i dont know why, but if you go back to the appstore, you can redownload them for free.

Well, I've tried syncing and that didn't work. I've already restored this thing once this week. Trying to avoid it again.

I'll probably just download the ones I used the most. I've got 3 emulators that work, so I guess that's good enough for me as far as games go.

    Go into iTunes.
    Go to the "Apps" tab.
Uncheck sync apps. Let it sync.
Wait for the sync to finish COMPLETELY.
Go back into the "Apps" tab.
Check sync apps. Sync it once more.
    You're apps should show up.

    Trouble shooting:
-Some apps don't show up, some do: This is due to the fact that the ipa you downloaded long ago became corrupt, or missing (for some random reason). Redownload the app and everything should work fine. Just resync after everything syncs.

Search for the apps, see if they are still there. IF they are, open Cydia and download Poof or SBSettings then see if they are hidden.
