More than half the time, my iTunes is going backwards on an album or playlist. It'll play a song, then play the previous song. I click the Next button and it goes to the previous. Clicking the Previous button gets me to the next song. What the hell? Does anyone else have this issue?

    wait, don't reinstall yet
try reversing the list view. you probably have it ascending. you want it descending. do so by clicking the little tab at the top that labels each column, in these pics, it would be artists.
    ascending:

    descending:

when you press next, all iTunes does is play the next song down on the list
also, there's no need to use that kind of language here.

I just reinstalled... nothing. I can fix it if I click to have it in descending order, and back to ascending order, but when I go to a different album, I get the same problem.

are you playing from a playlist then changing playlists? itunes remembers the sort view for every playlist and media category you have. if you're switching between playlists, they probably have different sort views.
