What should i do?

    Ok. So am planning on becomming an iphone dev. But i have no mac. Ill be going to college in 1 yearso ima get a laptop but max will be 1200$. Should i get a good intel pc which would supply more for my $$ and do a vm of osx or should i buy a mac

    Thanks.. My choice wont be until summer

    I would go for a mac personally. Much sleeker, and official

    True but it just seems like its less stuff for a high price

    also to be an iphone dev u need to hav a mac...SDK is mac only, plus trust me once you go mac you cant go windows...the operating system is sleek and easier to use than any out there.
    i guess the other alternative for you is to make a hakintosh...

    i currently have a hackintosh but its 10.5.2 lol and not sure really how to make it work since i got AMD. I think id have to mod the sdk for it to work on a non intel.

    Thanks for the advice. I'ma wait and see what happens during mac world and perhaps in august they will have another one of those going back to school sales.
