Okay so, i just got my ipod touch 2g today, upgraded it, jailbroke it and now i ofc wanted to install apps and that stuff. Anyway, now i wanted to install SBSettings or whatever to replace bossprefs, i installed it using Icy, it didnt show up, where is it? Also, i doesnt seem to find it in Cydia

Also, i wanted to test putting my ipod's boot into verbose mode, i did su, entered password, then i put nvram bootargs="-v"
No errors but no verbose mode, also, i cant seem to be able to scroll the screen when i do nvram -help or the -v doesnt show up anyway.

Now, what package installer should i use? If i use both and just happen to install same app on both installers, will they overwrite or make a copy?

/Thanks in advance and nvm my spelling cause i am swedish

Slide your finger along the top for SBsettings.

use Cydia. Its by far the most stable on 3.0. for now anyway.

The -v command doesn't work on the iPod, you have to patch the ispw for verbose boot.
