    Hi guys

I was just wondering what oses the x86 emulator Bochs supports?

The biggest problem is of course the lack of keyboard, meaning you cannot install an os.

So are there any oses out there that are pre-installed?

Reason I ask is that 95 is too slow on my iPod Touch (1G). I know no other os will ever be lightning fast, but at least it might boot up before my battery gives up

You basically answered yourself. Any x86 OS.

Although I tried to get Android, but the CPU isn't compatible. So we have to wait for a someone to make a version that is compatible.

I tried Damn Small Linux but it crashed, so I dunno what's up there really.

I would agree with 'any x86 OS', but with no keyboard option you can't install anything

The bastards at cmov. And I mean that in the literal definition of course, I would NEVER swear at someone.

Is it possible to do Hackintosh?

Haha no, we don't have a keyboard to install hackintosh....

Anyway with Android I didn’t really need a keyboard because I was using a live-cd so it ran straight of that and booted (well it was meant to if it worked)

Can we do a LiveCD of Hackintosh that's already installed?

If you can find a hackintosh live-cd I don't see why not.

Just be prepared to wait a few months for it to boot.

How do you get a live cd to work in bochs then?

    Thanks

The trick is to do everything in a virtual machine on your computer, then take the img file and put it in bochs.
