I know this sound stupid, but how do I find what operating system is on my I pod?? A lot of apps require 3 or higher i think. I am just wondering if this is why some stuff doesnt work!! Is there a way to update the the os like on a computer?? Thanks in advance.

Go to Settings>General>About, and it should tell you your firmware version there.

On your iPod, go into Settings > General > About, and it will display which OS you are running.

Or plug your ipod into your computer and it will display it on the 'Info' page in iTunes. You can check for a software update if you aren't running the newest OS (4.0).
