What on earth is error 1601

    I tried to jailbreak using red tool and then when I go to restore I got unknown error 1601. So I use quickpwn and it works but Now i want to change the logo( nor flash only) and i still get this freaking error 1601. Anyone has any idea?

    Why does it has anything to do with lib usb. How do I uninstall it cause it installed on my pc.

    Uninstalled libusb, same thing

    LibUSB doesn't affect it. Try a different USB Port.

    You need to re-install iTunes. Did you even try to use google?

    What is prejailbreak process

    Well, I tested on both pcs so i doubt removing itune would help. One was a fresh Itune installation

    Any error over 1600 pretty much means that you DFU restored and didn't apply the patches again. If you need to flash the NOR, jailbreak via QuickPwn (its the fastest and no libusb), make the firmware, open iTunes and UNPLUG the iPod. Then hold HOME till you see the connect to iTunes Recovery logo. Reconnect the iPod to the computer and Shift-Click Restore to the NOR ipsw. Make sure that you are already jalibroken and if you use redtool, search through the folders till you find the 30MB NOR firmware. Then just restore with the above steps.
