Apple states that the touch 2g has 36 hours of battery life when playing music. After a 10 hour day at work, my touch is pretty much drained. I'm usually at about 50% volume and have my screen brightness turned down to about 20%. Is my unit defective? Does capacity go up drastically after several charge cycles? Is Apple just full of crap?

    Here's The Problem

Turn Wi-fi off and set push to manual.

connect it to a computer. then itll have 36 hours.

36 hours music playback translated into apple language is 36 minutes of music playback.
