Lets hear about what MP3 player(s) you've had in the past, and what you think of them compared to the Ipod touch. list them in a pros and cons style

my last MP3 player was a 30gb Creative Zen Vision W.

    Pros:
    - great battery life (i could watch 3 full length movies on 1 charge)
    - file support (divx, xvid, mpg, ect)
    - very simple to manage songs (i swear iTunes will be the end of me)
    - software isnt needed to upload files (windows explorer works)
    - durable - its been dropped many times, and once submerged in whiskey (dont ask)
    - has external speaker (mono, but the iTouch has none)
    - has CF slot

    Cons:
    - interface is too boring (looks nice, and great screen, but the iTouch is above and beyond)
    - it really only works for playing music, movies, and picture, nothing else (iTouch does way more)

i bought the 32gb ipod touch almost entirely because of the interface, and the wifi/browser.

still keeping the zen, because it works nice as a dump-drive (planning on buying a digital-slr camera, and i have 2x 6gb CF cards) so i dont need to haul around a laptop for travelling.

The Ipod touch is the only Non-Creative I have had. I am not interested at all in the Classic or Nano. There are some rumors there is going to be a new Creative player that has Wifi and perhaps X-Fi. The touch is good as Mp3 player but the sound to me is not as refined as ithat of the ZVM. The Itouch's sound is more agressive, but clearer. I'll get a zune to hold all my music collection.
