I see often that people think the "Hold Home to Force Quit" has been removed, when in reality it has not. How this function is performed has though.

    1. Have Your iDevice freeze on you
    2. Hold the Lock button until "Slide to Power Off"" shows
    3. Hold the home button.
    4. There you go.

why wouldnt you just use a process manager?

theres even a sbsettings toggle that lets you kill applications.

Wow guys... 3.0 has only been out for what? 5 months? Something like that...?

But yeah, a process manager does make more sense, especially now.

If you could point me to a process manager for a not jailbroken device i'd be stoked, thanks.

There are free memory apps on the App Store, but nothing like SBSettings (of course not, Apple doesn't even allow true multitasking).

Only for jailbroken devices. What the original poster shared was info for those who who do not have a jailbroken iPod. And it was good info.
