Just as the title says, how would you define what unlocking is?

    Verizon iPhone service would own.
I would actually be able to get one then.. lol

    Thanks for the answers guys
    I have one other question..

Would I have to buy a plan to get the iPhone, or could I use the iPhone without a plan, and just jailbreak it and use safari and the camera and stuff.
