what is this?

    above the speaker and the camera on the front of the iphone there looks like a flash? its on the white phone but not visible on the black. of course these images are made on photoshop so perhaps that explains why its on one phone but not the other. but im surprised this was not noticed by anyone at apple.

    i wonder if there will be an option to turn on the flash (which is actually a light that doesnt flash but is on while setting up the picture) and use it as a flashlight in the dark. perhaps we can turn it on, simply by pressing both volume buttons now that they are separated

    this would be easier than going into the camera app...

    On the black front panel, yes. It's slightly more difficult to hide it in a white one.
