What is the usual Guarantee given on an Itouch

    I bough an Itouch in Dec 2008. It is giving trouble. Would my guarantee cover me now in March 2010???

    Nope 1 year unless you paid for more, or bought a warrenty from somewhere

    you can tell exchange it with a out of warranty exchange. 199 i think. You could have bought apple care to extend the warranty for 60 or 70 bucks

    My economic teacher said that the minimum guarantee for new things is 24 months :O
    why not for apple?

    If bought in Best Buy, when you ask to replace it, they don't look a warranty lol. Stupidity.

    Apple provides a one year warranty on them.

    What's wrong with your iPod Touch? It may not be a hardware issue. It might just need a restore or something simple. Those 1G's are tanks. I got mine shortly after they came out, and it still works a charm.

    @Sikpupi Nope, your warranty runs out in December 2009, unless you purchased the Extended Warranty for iPoT, which will extend the cover to December this year.

    What's the problem with your touch, btw?
