i just want to know why i should update.

All i get from firmware 2.0 is that it is very buggy.
There is no real jailbreak yet (pwnage a little, but i think it is in to early stages)

o and i forgot, no appstore...

YES I KNOW NOW, ... A NEW CALCULATOR... oh.... is that all?...eeeh ok

So bugs, 10000000000 help threads and a new calculator, nice... anything i forgot.

This forum part only exists because some newbies are exited telling I HAVE 2.0!!!
... sh*t it froze, whats that purple screen??... :s HELP THREAD!

UPDATE: i forgot parental controls... YAHOOOO!

Yeah, I got 2.0, But I'm disappointed with it. But I'm too lazy to DG to 1.1.4

You forget what this firmware actually is. It's a beta version of a developer's testing environment! This version was never meant to go public because of it's buggyness (is that a word?)

It's just for developers who want to see their code in action on an actual device, not in the simulator. And I don't think that those developers really care if the iPod plays music while they are debugging their apps

Even with the apps and stuff from the SDK kit they get old after about a hour and you long to have 1.1.4 back. Looks like some great apps are in our future!
