What is the max download speed you get with your ipod?

    just wondering what kind of speeds other people are getting when download videos to their ipods, this is what a get with dtunes installed and taking over control of the movies you watch with safari.

    whoa highest i ever got was 212kb an im not using router but my laptop lol..and my isp speed is 396kbps lol

    As have I. About 1.5 MB/s.
    My computers get close to 2 MB/s.

    It depends on the server's upload speed, and your download speed. Not the iPod.

    Unless you're running a whole bunch of apps in the background that is causing the iPod to slow down majorly, then it's not your iPod. But you have to be pretty stupid to run every app you have in the background in order to do this.

    Thanks for stating the obvious. Never asked what TWO main factors affect the speed of a file transfer, simply asked what is the max speed you can get on your ipod.

    95 KBs MAX. haha, thats just because my dsl sucks.
