What are the disadvantages of a "soft" upgrade over an actual jailbreak?

    Thanks in advance.

Softupgrade is not a real Jailbreak.

Its a Jailbroken 1.1.2 with 1.1.4 combined into it.

It can cause a lot of errors because of the mixing. And other stuff.

the main issue most people report is with the maps.app and the locate me feature of it. As Teslanaut said it's only bits of 1.1.4 added to 1.1.3 firmware which in turn is bits of 1.1.3 added to 1.1.2 which means a biiig mess lol

    loads of errors

I havent had any errors at all, It acts just like a normal 1.1.4 except I have installer, but I havent been using it for very long and I just downgraded to 1.1.2 to start testing on a new surprise.

it has bugs, is unstable sometimes, it isn't a complete jailbreak, it just flashes firmware 1.1.4 to make itunes and the device think there 1.1.4. but there files and basebands are the same. Just wait 12hrs to zibri release his complete jailbreak of ziphone. maybe ill work on ipods.
